The Masterworks Chorale

Dear Friends of The Masterworks Chorale

Dear Friends of The Masterworks Chorale.

“Lyrical, spirited /spiritual, playful, romantic, patriotic”: these words describe the music of The Masterworks Chorale’s spring concert on Saturday April 27 at 3:00 at Swarthmore United Methodist Church, 129 Park Avenue, Swarthmore.  “With Love, from America” celebrates a wide variety of music by and about Americans, including George Gershwin, Aaron Copland, Rene Clausen, and many more, directed by our talented Kat Bowman. Following the concert, you are invited to a reception to meet your friends, congratulate the performers, and perhaps offer to join the chorus in the fall (we are always looking for new, enthusiastic singers).

Tickets will be sold at the door: $15 for adults and $5 for children and students through high school. As you have been reminded by other arts organizations, ticket prices account for only a small part of our budget, and although our singers pay dues, we need to depend on our faithful friends to help us pay for salaries and rehearsal rental space.  Please contribute and help keep The Masterworks Chorale financially healthy in its 40th year of singing beautiful music.  You will find a donation form on our website at

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 27 at “With Love, from America.”
