Musical Director
Pasquale (Pat) Montenegro is a busy conductor, organist and pianist in the Delaware Valley. He is the Director of Music at Faith United Presbyterian Church in Medford, NJ, where he leads an active music program of adult and children's vocal and hand-bell choirs.
He is a lecturer, conductor, vocal coach and accompanist at The University of the Arts, and a lecturer in Temple University's School of Music.
Pat serves the community as the conductor of two men's ensembles in Philadelphia, The Roxborough Male Chorus and The Kelly Street Chorus, two old organizations with rich histories. In September he will also take the helm of The Masterworks Chorale, a mixed chorus based in Havertown, PA. He has made guest appearances with The Wilmington Community Orchestra (Delaware) and The Gloria Dei Youth Orchestra of Cherry Hill, NJ.
As organist he has been featured alongside The Philadelphia Chorus, The Temple University Concert Choir and The Choristers of Upper Dublin. And as pianist he has performed with The Philly Pops Festival Chorus, The Philadelphia Boys Choir, The Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony in Lansdale, PA and the Jump City Jazz Band in Trooper, PA.
Pasquale received his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from The Esther Boyer School of Music at Temple University. There he studied choral and orchestral conducting with Alan Harler, orchestral conducting with Luis Biava and opera musical direction with John Douglas. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of the Arts where his studies included Jazz piano with Trudi Pitts, ear training and conducting with Sean Deibler, Chamber Music with pianist Susan Starr and composition with Andrew Rudin.
Pasquale and his wife, Lauren, currently reside in Marlton, NJ, and are the proud parents of three girls, Mia Nicoletta, Sofia Anna and Olivia Rose.

Carol Grey
led The Masterworks Chorale for 25 years, from 1986-2011. Under her direction, the choir performed a wide range of repertoire, covering various musical periods, styles, and languages. Carol led the chorale in numerous concerts throughout the Delaware Valley. In addition to the chorale's regular concert series, Carol prepared The Masterworks Chorale for participation in three Generations concerts hosted by the Pennsylvania Youth Chorale, a joint concert with The Lower Merion High School Concert Choir, and participation in the Central Pennsylvania Choral Festival with guest conductor Fiora Contino.
Carol holds degrees in music from Temple University and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her experiences include teaching music in the public schools, at Settlement Music School, and at the junior college level. She was the founding director of the Temple University Center City Chorus. As a singer, Carol was a member of Singing City Choir, the Temple University Concert Choir, and the Delaware Singers, among others.
Carol currently directs and sings in Cantores, a small vocal ensemble performing primarily a cappella choral music from the 15th through 21st centuries. In addition, she sings with The Philadelphia Singers Chorale.
